The BANKNOTE SCANNER is a solution that automatically recognizes and photographically captures banknotes. Designed for supporting mobile evidence collection by police forces and law enforcement, it scans banknotes, identifies their currency and value, and documents their serial numbers.
This brings more efficiency to frontline operations by reducing manual work, and streamlines evidence collection, which in turn facilitates sound legal prosecution.
How BANKNOTE SCANNER Works
Using their duty phones, police officers or law enforcement personnel can batch-scan banknotes found or obtained during their work, for example in house searches, arrests, identity or vehicle checks.
The BANKNOTE SCANNER will identify the currency, add up the notes’ value, and record the serial numbers, alongside taking pictures of all scanned notes that serve as visual proof. This eliminates tedious and error-prone manual work, both in the field and in the ensuing evidence management.
The BANKNOTE SCANNER can be installed on existing work phones and does not require any hardware nor online connectivity.
