Following its latest update, kinegram.digital’s flagship product MOBILE CHIP SDK, a software solution for secure and trustworthy online identity document verification, now offers substantial performance improvements as well as an enhanced support suite. The MOBILE CHIP SDK is widely used for standards-compliant onboarding of customers, for example in banking and financial services.
The new version of MOBILE CHIP SDK achieves a significantly lower latency, making identity verification processes noticeably faster and smoother for end users. In addition to this, the update introduces trace and log files as well as a diagnosis option. These customer-focused features are designed to simplify support and monitoring.
Implications and Benefits
Better End User Experience
The noticeably reduced latency ensures a more convenient, speedier end user experience in digital identity verification scenarios, for example during remote onboarding, and eliminates timeout issues. For kinegram.digitals’ customers, this translates to minimized dropouts and increased user satisfaction.
Thanks to the improvements, response times of the chip verification, the crucial core step of MOBILE CHIP SDK’s digital identity document verification solution, are now 3-4 times faster. This applies regardless of whether a customer uses the global secure server architecture operated by kinegram.digital, or hosts a single secure server on their own premises to serve end users worldwide.
Greater Transparency and Control
The newly added trace and log files provide detailed, time-stamped insight into each verification step, most notably its successful completion. Customers can now review the process events, results and behaviors for documentation and troubleshooting purposes. If needed, developers can pinpoint and resolve specific issues.
Complementing the trace and log files, a new diagnosis option that customers can activate allows to save diagnostic data. Once the document chip is accessed, the tool records errors and anomalies – for example, if a passport’s chip can be opened, but not read, or if the solution displays unexpected error messages. As the MOBILE CHIP SDK is often integrated into customers’ app solutions, developers can choose to address diagnosed issues themselves, or share the relevant diagnostic data with kinegram.digital’s experts for technical assistance.
These enhancements empower organizations to better understand system behavior, identify necessary improvements, and ensure ongoing reliability of their digital identity verification systems.
Future-Ready Digital Identity Verification
The outlined product enhancements reflect kinegram.digital’s commitment to providing their customers with efficient and future-ready solutions for secure digital identity verification. By offering increased speed as well as greater traceability and diagnostic options, the MOBILE CHIP SDK continues to set benchmarks for reliability and user experience.
