The relaunch introduces a refreshed visual identity and broader functionality. While the app continues to serve as a demonstrator and evaluation tool for the performance of our SDK solutions, the new version further enhances the user experience with an updated design and extended scanning options.
Enhanced Appearance and Performance
The new DIGITAL SEAL iOS app features a redesigned interface that aligns with our corporate design language. A new tutorial at the start explains the app’s functionalities, from machine-readable zone (MRZ) scanning to chip verification and using the reference database during document checks. This makes it easier for first-time users to understand the app’s components and capabilities.
In addition to the updated visual appearance and improved user guidance, the app comes with expanded scanning capabilities: Beyond MRZs, it now supports a broader range of identifiers and allows users to also scan standard European, Swiss and UK license plates and 2D barcodes. This more closely demonstrates the capabilities of our MOBILE SCAN SDK, a professional solution for advanced scanning and data capture from MRZs, 2D barcodes, license plates, Visible Digital Seals and IDB.
Additional enhancements to the app’s underlying software simplify maintenance and updates, and ensure the continued reliable and sustainable performance. While invisible to the user, the improvements contribute directly to the DIGITAL SEAL app’s function as a demonstrator for our professional identity verification solutions.
