Technicalities of the TRUSTCODE Secure Track and Trace System

Code

TRUSTCODE pairs unique, digitally verifiable codes – QR Codes, Data Matrix, NFC, OCR or any other 2D barcode – with a secure database platform that allows to check whether a scan matches an expected, authorized record. The codes are generated in the secure database, and once issued, can be scanned using a dedicated app. The solution can be individually configured to show only a simple “scan valid/invalid” result or to display tailored information or access to digital services.

Database

In the backend database – available as a SaaS deployment operated by us, on a cloud service, or as an on-premise solution in your own local environment – each scan creates a time- and location-stamped record linked to the specific code, and an image of each scan is stored. It can seamlessly and securely be connected to existing databases or systems, creating comprehensive data trails and event chains that can support investigations, audits, and crime prevention.
